Brian Ratzan

Brian Ratzan is a Partner in Centerview Capital’s consumer private equity business.  Prior to joining Centerview Capital, Brian was Partner and Head of U.S. Private Equity at Pamplona Capital Management.  Prior to joining Pamplona in 2012, he was Managing Director and Head of Consumer at Vestar Capital Partners, which he joined in 1998.  Brian also previously worked at ’21’ International Holdings, a private investment firm, and in the Investment Banking Group at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.

Brian currently serves on the board of directors of The Simply Good Foods Company, where he was also a founder and Advantage Solutions.  Brian previously served on the boards of consumer companies including Del Monte Foods, The Sun Products Corporation and Bird’s Eye Foods, Inc.

Brian holds a BA from the University of Michigan, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
