Integral to the Leadership Development Program and your Executive MBA experience as a whole, you'll partner with a coach at specific touchpoints and engage in individual and team coaching throughout the 21-month program. Together with your coach, you’ll examine 360-degree feedback, develop an action plan, address new challenges, reflect on experiences, and dramatically increase your impact as a leader.
Individual Coaching
Receive candid, objective feedback and development exercises from an experienced leader. Your coach supports you throughout your EMBA journey.
"My coach has helped me gain confidence in myself, my work, and, most importantly, helped me grow as a leader. The coaching as well as the other elements of the Leadership Development Program have significantly changed my leadership style and positively impacted my professional and personal life in more ways than I could have imagined.”
- Alecia Dillon, MBA
Team Coaching
Teamwork is a staple of the Ross EMBA Program, reflecting the team-based structure found in modern organizations. In fact, over the course of the 21-month program, you'll work on five different teams comprised of five to six fellow students. Team coaching helps you lead through the inevitable challenges that arise when working in groups with diverse, talented individuals.
"As we move through the program and transition to different teams, the coaches know our strengths and weaknesses and help us come together as a new team. They have sort of an outside view looking in and can give fair and unbiased feedback.”
- Eddie Hansen, MBA
"By changing my approach to leadership, and becoming more vulnerable and authentic with my team, I can confidently say my team has seen the transformation I was hoping for and we are now a cohesive, thriving, successful tribe!"
— Alecia Dillion, MBA '20
