Your immersion in marketing doesn’t stop with focused academics. Outside of the classroom, you’ll have the opportunity to add practical, industry-leading experiences to your resume as well.
Educational seminars, access to industry-leading tools, resume critiques, and mock interviews provide Marketing Club members with exclusive access to recruiters for the most coveted marketing positions. The club also hosts the annual Marketing Symposium, which brings more than 30 companies and recruiters to campus to look for marketing talent.
The club provides students with the resources for success in various disciplines within the luxury goods and retail industry through alumni networking, resume reviews, guest speakers, interview preparation, corporate presentations, and company on-site visits.
Club members find help with the recruiting process by connecting with digital entertainment and media companies through on-campus events, annual career treks to New York and Los Angeles, and mentoring opportunities with senior executives in the entertainment and digital space.
During Professional Development Week, groups of students interested in marketing careers travel to New York City and Chicago to meet with firms and network with potential employers. This past year students visited with PepsiCo, Pfizer, Citi, Danone, Discover, EcoLab, Tyson Foods, Conagra, SC Johnson, Amazon, L’Oreal, Macy’s, Nike, Sephora, and more.
