Born and raised in Beijing, I went to Australia for higher education in 2013 and proudly became a naturalized citizen in 2022. I started my career as a Workday Integration Analyst in Workday implementations. Throughout my journey with consulting firms, I gained considerable experience in ERP implementation and IT strategy. I enjoyed bridging the gap between business and technology.
The first turning point of my career was my role as the Reporting Lead in Cancer Institute NSW where I led a team of data analysts & data engineers in the design & delivery of dashboards. This role stimulated my interest in cancer epidemiology. As a result, I am pursuing a 3-year MPH/MBA degree at University of Michigan (class of '27). My dream is to work in the field of cancer drug commercialization and market access in big pharma or health tech.
Outside of work, I read 20th-century fiction/non-fiction, write short stories, watch theatrical shows, do lots of yoga & pilates and do wheel-throwing pottery. As a regular volunteer, I pay visits to cancer survivors and cancer patients on weekends to provide emotional support. I am also a frequent donor to NGOs and Wikipedia.
