Jennifer Barker

Jennifer Barker is Global Head of BNY Mellon's market-leading Treasury Services business, which provides domestic and cross-border payments, US dollar clearing, trade finance and liquidity management capabilities to clients across the globe. Jennifer is also a member of the BNY Mellon Executive Committee. 

She is a treasury services veteran, with more than two decades of client-focused experience and a comprehensive understanding of the treasury ecosystem. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Jennifer spent 19 years with JP Morgan and held a wide variety of global Treasury Services roles across the Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking businesses, both in the U.S. and Asia. Jennifer is an established client-focused leader with expertise in digital initiatives and developing innovative payment solutions rooted in simplicity, efficiency, and speed. Prior to JP Morgan, Jennifer spent five years with Accenture. 

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she completed her MBA, and holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Public Relations from James Madison University. She lives in Dallas, Texas. She is a member of The Dallas Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Women’s Roundtable and a board member of Physicians for Peace.
