Aiswarya Garlapati
I am Aiswarya and I hail from Bangalore, India. I am a Computer Science Graduate and I had been working in the FinTech Industry as a software engineer for the last 6 years. I am passionate about how technology makes the world more equitable and I am interested in working in a space that promotes tech for positive impact.
I am also a published poet and a spoken word artist, and I love to read, write and advocate poetry.
My career before Ross was highly technical, and I didn't have many opportunities to express my creativity at work. I decided to pursue an MBA to explore how I can bring my entire identity to a prospective career where my technical prowess and artistic talents can work in coherence.
"Why Ross?"
You probably are at an important juncture where you are making a big decision to change the trajectory of your life by pursuing an MBA. This journey will most definitely be defined by the culture of the university you decided to go to. So I would advise you to introspect and rethink your core values and the kind of culture you would thrive in. For me, I found this at Ross. "Ross Nice" isn't just a stereotype; Ross has a collaborative spirit like no other university and that was of utmost importance to me.
