Like many of my Ross classmates, I had an interesting path that lead me to pursue an MBA. My background is in architecture and interior design, but coming out of my previous graduate degree I fell into a position at Masco, a building products company. Working for their cabinetry division, I have held several positions in operations and marketing. In my current position, I am responsible for the design direction and product roadmap process for each of Masco’s cabinetry brands. After five years, I wanted to continue my career track with Masco but was also interested in broadening my experiences and increasing my business acumen.
When considering different MBA programs, I wasn’t willing to put my career on hold. I chose Ross because the curriculum provides a broad range of classes as a foundation with the opportunity to take focused classes in my areas of interest- marketing and strategy. With the evening program, I am able to consistently apply the concepts learned in class, improving my professional and educational performance. Looking toward the future, Career Services has helped me formulate a plan for my future professional track. This has allowed me to plan my course work and the projects I take on at work to support my professional career goals.
