Amber Shimanek

Hello! I'm Amber Shimanek, a proud member of the WMBA Class of 2026 at Michigan Ross. I earned my undergraduate degree in marketing and professional sales from Indiana University Bloomington. Following graduation, I joined Whirlpool Corporation, where I've gained valuable experience in various marketing and sales roles. Currently, I lead product marketing execution for our built-in cooking division.

I chose the Michigan Ross MBA program for its outstanding reputation and focus on developing leadership skills. My time in the WMBA program has been transformative, offering a unique blend of rigorous coursework and collaborative learning through a supportive cohort.
