Ana Carolina Fernandes Silva
I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and hold a degree in Fashion Design. I spent seven years working in the fashion industry, specializing in product development for the men's fashion market. During my career, I developed collections, led sustainability initiatives, and contributed to product innovation.
I chose to pursue my MBA at Michigan Ross to gain a more strategic view of business, as my career had focused heavily on the creative side of fashion. The collaborative environment, strong community, and extensive networking opportunities at Ross drew me to the school, to enhance my strategic decision-making skills and broaden my expertise beyond design.
I’m passionate about connecting with others and exploring different cultures, and I’m happy to answer any questions about navigating the transition from a non-traditional background to business school.
