Ankit Namdev
Before joining the Ross School of Business for my MBA, I spent several years working in the energy and manufacturing sectors in various capacities. My journey started in operations, where I managed teams on large-scale projects, ensuring smooth execution under tight deadlines. Over time, I transitioned into business development, where I gained experience working with clients, developing strategies to drive revenue growth, and leading initiatives to streamline business operations through digitization.
Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed collaborating with cross-functional teams and solving complex challenges, whether related to technical processes, sales strategies, or operational improvements. My experiences gave me a deep understanding of the energy industry, from both a technical and commercial perspective, and fueled my decision to pursue an MBA to broaden my skillset.
On a personal note, I lead an active lifestyle. I enjoy spending time at the gym, playing volleyball and badminton, and challenging myself with chess. I also love watching all sorts of movies, from action-packed thrillers to thought-provoking dramas.
As I move forward in my MBA journey, I am eager to connect with others who share my passion for finance, energy, and business strategy. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to discuss career paths, MBA experiences, or the energy sector – I’m always happy to offer insights and share my journey.
