Ashley Williams

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2019 with a degree in Marketing and Information Systems & Technology. Before Ross, I spent four years working in retail strategy functions, with my most recent role as a Retail Knowledge Consultant in Chicago, where I collaborated with consultants to provide tailored recommendations for retail clients. Now, I'm pursuing my MBA to pivot into a client-facing, generalist consulting role.

I chose Ross for its action-based learning approach and strong emphasis on collaboration and leadership. I believe this environment will help me enhance my strategic thinking and hone my authentic leadership skills. Outside of Ross, you can often find me exploring new coffee shops and happy hours around Ann Arbor.

As the first in my immediate family to pursue an MBA, I found speaking with student ambassadors during my application journey incredibly valuable. Now, as a student ambassador, I’m eager to be a resource for future students and help them navigate the wealth of opportunities available at Ross.
