Carrie Albers
Prior to Ross, I spent the last 5 years working in technology consulting in Kansas City in both large Big 4 environments and a small start-up. Through this time, I loved working in consulting to research and solution for my clients, but I really felt like I was missing a sense of ownership in my work. I decided to go business school in search of roles where I would be constantly learning, grant me the ownership I was looking for. and to gain diverse leadership skills I wanted moving forward. In pursuit of this, I'm currently exploring roles in product management and finance.
Between the Action Based Learning curriculum, the alumni network, and the culture, Ross became the easy choice for me to pursue my MBA. Between the 60+ clubs there is always a way to be involved and be doing something! Outside of school, I love exploring Ann Arbor and Michigan, cheering on Kansas (Rock Chalk!), and baking. Feel free to reach out to me about anything in the MBA process from choosing a school, having a partner at Ross, or navigating life as an MBA student.
