Cristian Li Garrido

Hello! My name is Cristian Li Garrido, and I’m originally from Lima, Peru. Before coming to Michigan Ross, I spent over eight years working in strategic roles at companies like Nestlé and Diageo, where I developed commercial strategies that drove growth across various markets. I joined Ross to continue developing my career while taking advantage of the program’s unique action-based learning opportunities.

I chose Ross because of its perfect blend of hands-on learning experiences, like MAP and the Crisis Challenge, and its strong sense of community and powerful networking opportunities. The collaborative and supportive environment has been a major highlight for me, making it easy to build connections both in and outside the classroom.

Outside of my studies, I love going for runs, playing tennis, and enjoying video games or board games with friends. I also joined Ross with my partner, who’s also pursuing an MBA here, which has made the experience even more special.
