As a first-generation American raised in New York by two hardworking Jamaican immigrants, perseverance and resilience have always been central to my journey. These values guided me through my academic path at Syracuse University, where I majored in Economics and minored in Information Management and Technology. After graduation, they continued to shape my professional experiences—first in FinTech at Bloomberg, where I developed a strong interest in financial technology and data, and then as I pivoted into Fixed Income Investment Management, helping institutional investors navigate complex credit markets during a period of rising interest rates.

Choosing Michigan Ross was a natural next step for me. The school's focus on hands-on learning, particularly in finance, strategy, and entrepreneurship, aligns with my passion for uncovering what makes companies successful and how to value them effectively. What stood out most, however, is the vibrant Ross community. From the moment I engaged with its network, I felt a sense of collaboration and shared purpose, reinforcing my belief that Ross is where I will thrive as a student and a future leader.

I've always been captivated by the Midwest's industrial roots and ongoing revitalization. Studying at Ross during this transformative time allows me to witness how strategic efforts drive growth and job creation. Learning about finance alongside this resurgence has shown me the critical role finance professionals have in supporting companies that need capital the most. Ross’ focus on real-world impact and collaboration prepares me to lead meaningfully and contribute to the Midwest's revival.

I’m here as a resource for anyone considering Michigan Ross. Whether you're exploring career transitions, interested in finance, or curious about the Ross community, I’d be happy to help you navigate the decision-making process.
