Hanlin (Sam) Liu
Hi there! My journey into supply chain management began after completing my Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting at Babson College. My passion for data analysis and strategic problem-solving led me to pursue further education in this dynamic field.
My decision to join the MSCM program was driven by its reputation for excellence and the unique opportunities it offers for hands-on learning and professional growth. I was particularly drawn to the program's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, a value I've had the honor to champion as the DEI Chair in the MSCM Student Association.
My professional experiences, ranging from management consulting in Shanghai with Oliver Wyman to leading a team in London for the Cambridge Consulting Network, have equipped me with a robust skill set in analytical thinking, strategic planning, and effective communication. These roles, along with my internships at PwC Advisory, have deepened my understanding of the complexities within supply chains and the importance of building innovative solutions.
Outside the classroom, I've pursued leadership roles, such as the President of the Babson Consulting Association and Vice President of the LSE Hall Committee, where I've been able to influence positive change and build a better community.
Choosing the MSCM program at Michigan Ross has been one of the best decisions of my life. It has not only provided me with a solid foundation in supply chain management but also a vibrant community of peers, professors, and industry professionals.
I look forward to sharing my experiences with you!
