Haris Mohsin

Class of 2026

My name is Haris Mohsin, and I am currently a member of the 2026 cohort in the Weekend Part-time MBA program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. Alongside my academic pursuits, I am employed as a Lifecycle Cost Analyst at Ford Motor Company, where I have built a career spanning over eight years in the automotive industry. My professional journey at Ford includes five years as a Cost Analyst and three years as a Tooling Analyst, during which I have developed deep expertise in cost analysis, project management, and cross-functional team leadership across various automotive systems, such as exteriors, interiors, and electrical powertrains.

Academically, I hold both a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. I am also committed to continuous professional development, having completed certifications in project management, system-based engineering, and programming.

My future aspirations include advancing into a leadership role within a globally renowned organization and launching my own business venture after completing my MBA at Ross. I am passionate about leveraging my engineering background and business education to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Although I am of Pakistani heritage, I spent much of my upbringing in Dubai, UAE; Tokyo, Japan; and Toronto, Canada, which has given me a global perspective and an appreciation for diverse cultures. Outside of my professional and academic commitments, I enjoy watching documentaries, listening to audiobooks, and learning new languages.
