Hey everyone! It’s amazing to see that you are considering attending Ross! My name is Lucas, and I am a junior student concentrating in Finance and Strategy, minoring in User Experience Design. I am originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, but attended high school in Troy, MI. I considered many other schools when choosing an institution to continue my education beyond high school, but I eventually chose Michigan Ross because of the community, program, and school spirit. Michigan Ross prides itself on offering students ample opportunities to engage with the greater Ann Arbor community, something I have taken advantage of since attending. From the moment I stepped foot in the Ross building, I felt the contagious sense of drive and achievement that runs deep within our school. I am now in my third year of school here, and I can say it has been nothing short of what I had dreamed of. 

One of the amazing things about Ross is the diverse array of clubs and organizations that we have available to all students. Within these organizations, I have been able to grow professionally, as well as explore my career interests early on. By getting to work with real businesses on real problems from my first semester here, I truly felt like I was able to take my learning and transform it into action. 

I am so happy to be a part of the Ross community, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the program, community, or school. Go Blue!

What is one of your favorite places to travel? Greece is by far my favorite place I have been to. From the beautiful beaches to the friendly locals and delicious food, there is truly something for everyone and I cannot wait to go back.
