Hometown: Ann Arbor
Hi everyone!! My name is Maya, and I am currently a Junior at Ross. I am originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. I am really excited that you are interested in the Ross School of Business. I grew up next to Michigan’s campus and have been a Michigan fan my whole life. I am so grateful to be able to call this place my home! One thing I love about the school is that everyone is willing to help and there are so many different opportunities to learn and engage with others.
Despite living 10 minutes away, the transition to college was still a daunting change. Luckily, I met so many helpful and amazing people at Michigan and within Ross to give me advice and guide me through entering the university. I made friends in classes and clubs, and Ross provided numerous networking opportunities and mentorship programs through advisors and upperclassmen. Through them, I have learned so much and grown as a finance student, and I have built meaningful connections with my peers. Ross has supported me through college and granted me opportunities to further explore business and discover my specific interests. I encourage you to reach out to people, get involved with clubs, and feel free to ask me any questions! Go Blue!
What is your favorite place to eat in Ann Arbor? My favorite place to eat on campus is Stray Hen!
