Maynard Joseph Cordero Gellada
Hello, my name is MJ Gellada and I am a member of the WMBA Class of 2026. Back in 2013, I graduated from the School of Engineering here at University of Michigan with a degree in Computer Engineering. In the past 12 years, I've worked in a number of technology and consulting companies that range from a start-up to an enterprise organization. I have had experiences in technology roles that include engineering, project management, and data.
I've always known that I wanted to pursue an MBA degree, but it had to be the right time and fit for myself. When I learned more about the Weekend MBA program that Ross offered, it was everything I wanted for getting back into academics. It offered a part-time schedule that allowed me to continue my career while also having a curriculum that would complete in a 2-year time frame. The cohort structure gave me many opportunities to network amongst my classmates and also develop closer friendships with people amongst the class. I also experienced a great set of classes readily structured specifically for the Weekend MBA program. On top of that, there are many other activities that the university offers that range from career services to football games at the Big House. This offering is hard to compare with other programs.
When I have a break from school and work, I spend time with my wife and daughter, I work out at OrangeTheory and run outdoors, hanging out with friends, and enjoy all types of events. As I've bled maize and blue since my undergraduate years, it is my hope I can pay something forward to you in what I believe is the best university experience any school could offer. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about this program.
Go Blue!
