Naomi Kubo

Born and raised in Japan, I worked in the hospitality industry. I worked as a hotel manager, overseeing hotel branding, employee training, and managing a wide range of HR operations, from recruitment to labor management. After that, I worked in HR at a tech company, where I also supported branding and employee training initiatives at the hotels we invested in as part of our portfolio support. In addition, I managed a small business in Japan and am currently developing ideas to expand that venture. Now, I'm looking to explore new challenges beyond my previous roles.

When I was applying to Ross, I was struck by the incredible community and how genuinely supportive the people were. Since arriving, my experience has confirmed that – my classmates, MBA2s, alumni, professors, and staff have all been more supportive than I ever imagined.
