I went to Michigan for undergrad with a Psychology major and then spent a few years working in tech: first as an Account Manager (Gartner, IT Research/Advisory), and then in sales at a Detroit-based SaaS start-up (Amber Engine/Material Bank). I pivoted in 2023 to help build a nascent e-commerce business for the largest rug and textile manufacturer in India (Obeetee), and most recently, I have started as a mid-market Account Strategist at Google in the Ann Arbor office. My journey has not been a straight line, but I think there's immense value in being able to tell the "story" of your experience.
I chose to pursue my MBA because I wanted to future-proof my career and knew that while I immense interest in business and technology, I had not yet learned how to speak the language. I decided to pursue the part-time MBA because I could not forego the interim salary, but thankfully, Ross offers such an amazing program for people who still want to work full-time.
