Nikhel Sylvain
Prior to business school, I spent time in the United States Air Force as an in-flight refueler, where I developed a global perspective. After my service, I earned a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Brown University and founded TrueFit College Admissions Consulting, a startup aimed at assisting students from underprivileged backgrounds in their application processes to elite undergraduate institutions. More recently, I worked in finance with JP Morgan and Canyon Partners.
What drew me to Ross was the collaborative environment, hands-on learning opportunities, and the incredible support from both faculty and fellow students. Ross stood out as a place that had the resources, network, and best-in-class MBA culture to help me achieve my goals.
Outside of academics, you’ll likely find me flying planes, exploring Ann Arbor, or connecting with the vibrant Ross community. I’ve traveled to over 50 countries and nearly every state, so if you want to chat about travel, Ross, or my MBA journey, I’m happy to connect.
