Ranu Moonka

I come from Jamshedpur—known as the land of the Tatas—but I’ve spent the last 11 years making Bangalore my home. As a CPA and CFA charterholder, I’ve had the opportunity to work across diverse industries like CPG, tech, and financial services in various finance roles.

I began my career at Britannia Industries as a corporate finance manager and went on to lead the company’s largest systems transformation project. Eager to explore the startup ecosystem, I joined Ola Cabs, where I led strategy finance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch new business categories and optimize spending. The desire to learn strategy finance from a global perspective led me to my most recent role at London Stock Exchange Group as the lead strategy finance partner for the Corporate Technology function. Working at the intersection of finance and business, I understand both the functions and its challenges.

At Ross, I aim to develop strategic thinking and leadership skills that will enable me to pivot into business strategy roles. The school’s focus on action-based learning, leadership development through the Sanger Leadership Center and its supportive community attracted me.

Outside of work, I’m a certified mountaineer with a passion for Himalayan expeditions and a fitness freak.
