Raunak Kukreja
I was born in Princeton, New Jersey and lived in 8 different cities from the ages of 0-6 before finally growing up in Omaha, Nebraska. For my undergrad, I ventured out to UCLA (Go Bruins!), where I majored in Business Economics and minored in Cognitive Science. After graduating from UCLA, I began my career in Denver, Colorado as a product consultant in the Capital IQ division of S&P Global. A few months later, I transitioned into management consulting and moved back to Los Angeles to join KPMG’s advisory team as a financial services solutions consultant. There, I developed expertise in financial services and data transformation. Seeking to pivot into strategy consulting, I moved to San Francisco to join BCG as a corporate finance & strategy consultant. In this role, I learned how to optimize future value creation through effective capital allocation and financial policies. I am now pursuing an MBA to expand my leadership skills and develop technical expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management and business analytics.
Choosing Ross for my MBA was an absolute no-brainer due to its emphasis on action-based learning, collaborative culture, and endless career opportunities. And, of course, let’s not forget its relentless and enthusiastic Alumni network! During my application process, I connected with various ambassadors and alumni who provided invaluable insights, making my transition to Ann Arbor smooth and welcoming. If you have any questions—whether about classes, career opportunities, or even the weather in Ann Arbor—please feel free to reach out. I’m here to help. I hope to see you at Ross next fall, and as always, Go Blue!
