Ricardo Popescu

Working with people better than me, being an eternal apprentice, challenging goals and making people´s lives better. Those are my drivers. Prior to Ross, I spent nearly six years in operations planning (demand, production, and logistics), and another year in marketing, in the industries of pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemical, and biopolymers.  Along my journey, I discovered my passion for personal development and helping people achieve their professional dreams. 

To become the best leader that I can be, and maximize my impact on people’s lives, I knew that I needed to do something different. An MBA from a top-ranked business school became the clear choice. I chose Ross for its exceptional culture and distinctive program. Collaboration at Ross is beyond comparison with other programs, and the action-based learning includes the opportunity for internships (MAP experience) before the official summer period.

I would not be here without all the help that I received from many Ross alumni and current students, and I am eager to pay it forward.
