Ridhima Kalra

Class of 2026

I was born in India and am proud to be a first-generation college student. I began my career in financial services, working across retail and wealth management before moving to Canada to explore new opportunities. I transitioned into business banking, where I thrived by helping small to mid-sized businesses with tailored cash and credit solutions. However, I realized that the scope and geography of my work had limitations, which led me to see the MBA at Ross as the perfect opportunity to expand my knowledge and pivot into the corporate world in the U.S. What truly drew me to Ross was the strong sense of community and belonging.

As a Forte Ambassador, I’m committed to promoting diversity and empowering women in business, which aligns closely with my personal values.

Outside of work, I'm a full-time mom to a baby boy. A fun fact: I submitted my Ross application just one day before giving birth to my son! I’m always eager to connect with others, whether it’s to discuss finance, the experience of being a first-generation immigrant, balancing a full-time MBA while being a mom, or anything else under the sun.
