Soha Vaziri
Originally from Western Nebraska, I found a home in Ann Arbor as an undergrad as well as an interest for understanding the intersection of community public health and business. After graduating, I was part of a Finance Leadership Development Program at CVS Health, where I worked in PBM Accounting and Enterprise Economics. In my role, I spent time in internal strategy consulting and realized I enjoyed solving complex problems but wanted to have a more impact-focused scope, and go back to my public health roots (cue grad school applications)!
As a Michigan student, I'm a dual-degree MBA/MHSA through Ross and the School of Public Health. I knew Ross was a good a fit for me because of its emphasis on action-based learning through interactive course material, opportunity to participate in MAP, and engagement in student organizations that would allow me to expand my school of thought and learning. The easiest reason to come back to Michigan was because of the people; Ross has a vibrant and supportive community and a culture that I knew I wanted to be a part of.
Outside of school, I enjoy finding and putting my own twist on new recipes, exploring new bars and restaurants with friends, and traveling with my family. Please feel free to reach out me to talk about dual-degrees, interests in health equity and access, and any questions about life in Ann Arbor!
