Stu Carley

I was born in Denver, CO, but grew up most of my childhood in Houston, TX. From there I attended the US Coast Guard Academy and earned a Bachelor's of Science in Marine and Environmental Science. I commissioned in 2014 and have served aboard three Coast Guard ships performing operations as far south as the equator and as far north as the arctic circle. I am still active duty and am here at Ross earning my MBA in order to perform Finance Officer roles within the US Coast Guard. The reasons I chose Ross over other MBA programs was due to the noticeable camaraderie among Ross students, high academic standards, strong partner integration, and a vast alumni network. 

In my free time I enjoy getting outdoors/hiking with my wife, Maria-Paula, and German Shepherd, Dakota. Please reach out as I would be happy to discuss the application process, life in Ann Arbor, student clubs, and anything else related to Ross and the MBA experience.
