Before joining Ross, I pursued a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, which set the foundation for my career start in the Technology Development Program at AT&T. There, I managed a multimillion-dollar portfolio for the Chief Data Office, spearheading innovation initiatives such as the “Face the Floor” pitch competition that expanded across seven AT&T centers nationwide. I then joined AT&T’s University Recruiting Team, identifying top talent, and managed executive reporting during the company’s COVID-19 response, providing critical insights to senior leadership during a global crisis.
Looking to broaden my perspective, I transitioned to Meta, where I led the development of a Metaverse Recruiting Strategy for the Emerging Talent Recruiting Team. This role offered tremendous opportunity and growth, but when restructuring at the company occurred, it gave me a chance to reflect on my career path. It was during this period that I discovered my passion for venture capital and made the decision to pursue an MBA at the Ross School of Business to deepen my expertise in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
In just a short time at Ross, I’ve formed meaningful connections with peers and faculty, all of whom inspire me daily. I’ve had the privilege to work as an Investment Associate at Market Square Ventures and the Zell Lurie Commercialization Fund, conducting due diligence and sourcing deals that have broadened my exposure to venture capital. Ross has been a place where I’ve found not only personal growth but also an incredible community, and I’m excited to give back by mentoring prospective students, just as others did for me.
