Vignesh Balasubramanian
Upon graduating with a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, I moved to Michigan to pursue my passion for working with automobiles. In the past six years, I have worked with almost all the automotive companies in the USA. I spent my time in various engineering and management roles inside the automotive and consumer products industry. I currently work as a Thermal engineering global lead for Methode Electronics and oversee projects in North America, Europe, and Asia.
I am responsible for the product development deliverables, Engineering strategy, research and development, and product portfolio management. I believed in constant learning and growth. As I grew, I learned about consulting and how it would help me work with different industries. Getting an MBA was always on the radar and I waited to gain the right amount of experience to do it. Living in Midwest, I could not find a better place than Ross to get an MBA. Ross offered a great place to learn and develop my leadership skills and meet a diverse group of well-accomplished people. Ross provided a cohort-based weekend program and the two-year lock-step process to receive your MBA, this was a perfect fit for my goals. Sanger leadership center was another important factor in my decision. The variety of programs, challenges, and workshops offered by sanger stood out for me. In the short time, I have spent in the school, I have met individuals from all the industries I could think of and the support from my fellow weekenders is unparalleled.
I am humbled to be a part of the Ross community and looking forward to the rest of my time in the school. Reach out to me if you have any questions- Happy to talk to you.
