Digital Innovation in the Entertainment and Media Industries --- Innovation in the Entertainment and Media Industries is designed for students interested in studying the effects and opportunities created by digital disruption and having an open dialogue about where these industries are heading. This elective is intended as a concise guide for Executive MBA students to understand how new technologies, including streaming and Gen Al, affect the current and future entertainment and media companies. Entertainment and Media Industries have drastically changed in the past twenty years in the way products/content are developed, marketed, and distributed and how talent connects with their audiences. Those in these Industries face unprecedented challenges on a daily basis to allocate limited resources in an unpredictable, highly changing environment. The way we watch TV, listen to music, consume our news, and interact with others continues to change at a faster and more unpredictable pace. This week-long course will present a broad overview of how digital technology has transformed the industry and the business opportunities and challenges that exist today.
