Global Supply Chain Management --- This course offers a general manager's perspective on key issues in designing and managing end-to-end global supply chains. Students will develop an understanding of key drivers of supply chain performance, including management of material, information and end global supply financial flows, and their interrelationships with business strategy and other functions within the company as well as across firm boundaries. They will understand the importance risk management in the extended global supply chain and learn the key elements of a robust risk management system and develop execution plans. Finally, the course will discuss how new (digital) technological developments impact global supply chain efficiency and effectiveness and deliver competitive advantage.
