Biography

Snehal Banerjee's research interests include learning and disagreement in financial markets, liquidity, and behavioral finance. His current research involves studying how investors acquire and process information in financial markets, how firms' disclosure decisions affect such behavior, and how regulatory policy affects the information environment and economic welfare. 

Snehal earned his B.A. in Economics, Mathematics and Computer Science from Brandeis University and his Ph.D. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. Prior to his arrival at the Ross School of Business, Snehal was an Associate Professor of Finance at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and an Associate Professor of Finance at the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego.
