Round 2 Decision Release, Round 3 Deadline Upcoming
March is a big month at Michigan Ross.
It is Women’s History Month, and we joined the world in celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8. Check out this Q&A with Ross grad students here.
First-year Ross MBAs also kicked-off their seven-week MAP projects last week. That means all 400 MBA1s are tackling high-impact challenges and opportunities facing dozens of organizations around the world across a multitude of industries and functions. About half of the MAP teams will be traveling for their projects this year, as determined by their sponsor. I’ve talked with many students and they all report being thrilled with their projects, even if they had a hard time choosing the one they wanted to work on from the more than 100 that were offered.
Round 2 calls starting today
In other exciting news, the Admissions team will be calling all Round 2 admits living in the U.S. today (March 16) and all admits living outside the U.S. tomorrow (March 17). As always, there will be no special order to the calls other than our efforts to be mindful of time zones.
If you were waitlisted in Round 1, we re-reviewed your application in Round 2. If you are admitted, you will receive a call on the same day as other Round 2 admits. If you do not receive a call, you may remain on the waitlist or be denied so that you have time to make other plans. We encourage you to login to view your status after noon ET on March 18.
We will email all candidates who remain on the waitlist with next steps and a link to a form to provide updates. We will reconsider waitlisted applications with the Round 3 pool.
Round 3 deadline
The Round 3 application deadline is April 4. If you’d like to hear tips geared specifically toward applying in Round 3, we encourage you to attend our Round 3 App Tips Workshop on March 22. We also hold weekly Admissions Office Hours every Wednesday where you can drop in to ask an admissions officer questions or you can attend an Ask Me Anything with current students where you can ask students about life at Ross or their favorite things about living in Ann Arbor. Three great resources to help you be ready for that April 4 deadline.
