Spring 2025 breathes new life into the University of Michigan's Central Campus, where blooming tulips and cherry blossoms create a stunning backdrop for academic pursuit and vibrant student life. Near the Ross School of Business, the lively atmosphere along Tappan St. and the inviting green space of the Law Quad buzz with activity as students gather for group discussions, impromptu study sessions, and coffee-fueled brainstorming.

Round 3 decision release

The admissions team is underway with the initial review of our Round 3 applications. Applicants who are invited to interview will receive an email by April 11. I encourage all applicants who receive an interview to schedule it as soon as they can.

At the conclusion of the interview period, applicants will also receive an additional evaluation. This evaluation will determine the status outcome of your application. If you are admitted, we will call you on Wednesday, April 30, or Thursday, May 1, with official admit information being sent via email on Friday, May 2. As always, there is no special order to the calls other than our efforts to be mindful of time zones.

Applicants on the waitlist

If you were waitlisted in Round 1 or 2, we re-reviewed your application in Round 3. If you are admitted, you will receive a call on the same day as other Round 3 admits.

If you do not receive a call, you may remain on the waitlist or be denied. We will email all candidates who remain on the waitlist with the next steps to follow and a link to a form to provide updates. We reconsider waitlisted applications on a rolling basis.

We understand the importance of timely decisions, especially for our international applicants, and we will make every effort to provide updates as quickly as possible.
