Financial Times Awards Recognize Michigan Ross Research

Two research papers by Ross School of Business professors earned recognition in the Financial TimesResponsible Business Education Awards.

“It is difficult to define, challenging to achieve, and hard to quantify, but the FT’s Responsible Business Education Awards show that a positive social impact can be made by business school academics, through their research. Not only does their work tackle significant societal problems, but their findings are driving change in policy or practice,” the publication wrote in its announcement.

Four papers won awards in the research category, while the publication recognized several more — including the Michigan Ross papers — as “other shortlisted entries.” The honored Ross papers were:

In addition to the awards for academic research, the Financial Times also announced awards for teaching cases and alumni change makers.
