Michigan Ross Moves Up in U.S. News and World Report Best Part-Time MBA Rankings
The Ross School of Business Weekend MBA Program ascended to No. 6 in the 2024 U.S. News and World Report rankings, maintaining its position in the Top 10 since 2012.
The Michigan Ross WMBA Program earned the No. 6 ranking among 269 domestic peers. This designation represents a one-spot improvement over last year’s No. 7 ranking.

Sriram, associate dean for graduate programs. “This recognition is a testament to the strength of our curriculum, the expertise of our faculty, and our innovative approach to learning. We remain committed to delivering a world-class education that helps our students accelerate their careers and achieve success as business leaders.”
To determine their rankings, U.S. News and World Report surveyed business schools between fall 2023 and early 2024 to collect data using six factors: peer assessment score, part-time student ratio, part-time students total, GMAT/GRE scores, undergraduate grade point average, and work experience.
The No. 6 ranking is the second top-10 laurel to be awarded to the Michigan Ross WMBA Program this month. Fortune slotted Michigan Ross at No. 2 in their rankings for the Best Part-Time MBA Programs for 2024.
A new Weekend MBA class will begin in May, kicking off their accelerated two-year journey in the comprehensive, lockstep program and becoming the next cohort of working professionals looking to build their business and leadership skills. Recent WMBA graduates earned a median base salary of $162,500, demonstrating the strong return on investment of a Michigan Ross degree.
