Hamsa Konanur was looking for an Executive MBA program that would give her a holistic understanding of business operations, with experienced faculty, a challenging curriculum, and a solid professional network. She found it at Ross.

“I knew people who had studied in the Michigan Ross Executive MBA Program and saw the difference they displayed after graduation,” says Hamsa.

During the interview process, she came to appreciate the rigor and excellence of the program in a way that had not come across at other schools. Once enrolled, her ExecMAP experience delivered on her high expectations, enhancing her ability to research complex topics, administer market surveys, and conduct financial analysis.

“The ExecMAP project that was sponsored by my organization taught me to lead a project team and facilitate with key stakeholders. I was able to deliver an actionable business strategy that is now being implemented at McKesson,” she explains. “It is extremely satisfying to see that all of the research and recommendations provided by my ExecMAP team have been very valuable to the organization.”

Hamsa enrolled in the Ross EMBA Program hoping to fast track into higher leadership roles and explore new areas of business — and she has. Since graduating, she has been promoted from a senior manager to director of quality assurance, where she is leveraging the leadership skills she learned at Ross.
