Sam Aflaki

Sam Aflaki is a CMA CGM, chaired professor of sustainability and supply chain analytics visiting Ross from HEC Paris’s department of information systems and operations management, where he also serves as the department chair and the academic director of the operations module in the HEC's EMBA program. Sam holds a Ph.D. in management from INSEAD, and his current research focuses on sustainable decision-making, operations management, and (energy) policies. Sam's research has been published in leading management and economics journals and recognized in several INFORMS' prestigious competitions. Sam currently serves as the French co-director of the industrial excellence award, one of the most prestigious operational management competitions for manufacturing and service organizations worldwide. Sam teaches operations management courses in various degree programs and has served as a guest lecturer in many leading management institutions worldwide.
