Out for Business at Ross (OFB)

Out for Business strives to accomplish three goals: to build community among the queer members of the Ross community, to provide professional development resources for our membership, and to raise awareness among all Ross faculty, staff, and students of the issues facing queer individuals in society.

Outdoor Club at Ross School of Business

The purpose of ROC is to promote outdoor activities at the Ross School of Business. We believe an active lifestyle allows an individual to be well rounded and leads to a happier, healthier, and more successful life.

Partners Club at Ross (PCAR)

PCAR is dedicated to supporting the needs of partners and families of students in all Ross graduate programs. We offer information, advice, and other resources to prospective and incoming partners and their families to facilitate a smooth transition to U-M life. PCAR also creates an instant network of friends from around the world ready to explore Ross, the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and beyond. PCAR's robust calendar of events caters to all partners, their students, and their families living in or visiting Ann Arbor, including those who are employed, seeking work, in school, caring for family, or unable to work in this country. PCAR enables members to take full advantage of the Ross experience with their significant other.

Private Banking Era

The Private Banking Era (PBE) is a student-led business club established in April 2024, with goals of providing unparalleled technical aspects of private banking knowledge, helping students understand the most elite services in the banking industry, and equipping all members with the skills and expertise necessary to serve high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs). The goal is achieved through education sessions regarding the private bank’s special services (trust fund, family office, and evaluation of source of wealth), professional development sessions (wine knowledge, sporting pursuit, and wellness retreats), and guest speaker events. The strength of the Private Banking Era comes from members’ strong desire for continuous improvement and internal bonding. The Private Banking Era values members’ voices and ideas and we are committed to building a supportive and diverse community that assists each member in gaining personal and professional growth.

Psychologically Empowered Business Leaders (PEBL)

Explores intersect of business and psychology: developing personal and professional skills while teaching technical skills through consulting projects

Risky Business

A mixed alcoholic beverage consisting of two parts rum, one part whiskey, four fluid ounces of coke, and four fluid ounces of a fruity drink of your choice 3). The rock band at the Ross School of Business Risky Business is the epitome of good times and good tunes. It all comes together for several epic shows each year when we serenade our classmates with an eclectic mix of our favorite jams. Soccer Club at Ross (SCR)

The Michigan Business School Soccer Club provides the opportunity for soccer enthusiasts of all skill levels to enjoy the sport by participating in a variety of different activities: weekly weekend scrimmages, intramural competition, outdoor and indoor intramural league games, national inter-business school tournaments in California and Texas, attendance to UM Men's Soccer games, game-viewing at sports bars and other social events. Play is typically at the recreational level, although some events are competitive. A modest membership fee is required, and partners are more than welcome to participate. Sports Business Association at the Ross School of Business

To provide students at the Ross School of Business (MBA) interested in pursuing a career in the business of sports, as well as those interested in watching and playing sports, with opportunities to build and/or expand their network in the industry, learn from experienced professionals in the field, understand the different functions and career paths, develop a career plan, identify and capitalize on potential employment opportunities in sports, gather for sporting events and provide an outlet for recreational sporting activities. Ross SBA is proud to be a founding member of the MBA Sports Business Alliance, a coalition of top tier business schools focused on providing sports business job opportunities to its members. Founding schools include Ross, UCLA Anderson, Duke Fuqua, and Texas McCombs.

Taiwan Business Association (TBA)

Taiwan Business Association is designed for Ross students who have strong interest in Taiwan's history, culture, languages, and industry development. Taiwan Business Association would provide the means for Rossers to learn more about businesses in Taiwan and to interact with students, alumni, faculty, professor, UM students who share similar interests in Taiwan.

Tech Club at the Ross School of Business

The Tech Club aims to serve three primary purposes: To build an integrated network of tech-minded MBAs, to educate members on the latest trends and developments in the high tech industry, and to support members in their career pursuits. As one of the most dynamic industries, impacting all other businesses, tech is an increasingly appealing career path for MBAs. As a result, the Tech Club is one of the fastest-growing and largest clubs on campus.
