Julia Hoffert has over 20 years of experience in higher education, with the past 17 years focused specifically on admissions and recruitment. Her previous roles at U-M include recruiting and admissions for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance and the Ford School of Public Policy. Prior to moving to Michigan with her family in 2012, Julia was the assistant director of admissions at New York University - Steinhardt.
Julia earned a master of arts and bachelor of music degrees from NYU. Her key leadership strengths include strategic operations, continuous process improvement, and project management. In her spare time, Julia enjoys opera and musical theater.
